Agricultural farming

We use our fields to produce fodder for our animals. We win hay, rye, barley, triticale and silage maize.

From our commercial timberland we obtain firewood and timber.

Suckler cow husbandry and fattening of pigs

Our suckler cows are mostly purebred Blonde d'Aquitaine. Some are crossbred with Simmental cattle (which are called "Fleckvieh" in Austria). The crossbred cattle, as well as pigs, are fattened. We butcher them in our own slaughterhouse. The beef and pork is used for direct marketing and "Mostschank".

The purebreded Blonde d'Aquitaine are used for our own stock of cattles or as breeder animals for other farms.
